ASK ME ABOUT Joining Cincinnati City Council member as the youngest Black man ever elected in the city.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR PRIORITIES AS A COUNCIL MEMBER? Housing stability, cost of living relief, and stronger pathways to economic opportunity. That means protecting renters and homeowners, supporting small businesses, and making city services work better for working people. I am focused on results families can actually feel in their day-today lives.
HOW WILL YOUR CHILDHOOD UPBRINGING AND PAST PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES INFORM YOUR APPROACH TO CIVIC IMPACT? When my family’s small business crashed, we experienced homelessness, and I learned how fast stability can disappear. Because of that, I dedicated my career to building policy and programs that give real working people the tools to survive and thrive. That lived experience keeps my leadership grounded, urgent, and focused on real outcomes.
WHAT IS YOUR VISION FOR A BETTER CINCINNATI? My vision is a Cincinnati where you don’t have to be wealthy or well connected to thrive. A city where housing is stable, jobs pay enough to live on, and neighborhoods are safe, connected, and full of opportunity. I want Cincinnati to be a place where hard work is met with real possibility.
