The Cincinnati Reds recently opened their 145th Major League Baseball season with high hopes for a winning record and a playoff appearance. But not all of the action is happening on the field; the team unveiled lots of new food and drink options at Great American Ball Park.
Everyone who enjoys letting the kids stretch their legs in the first-base-side Fan Zone now has a refreshment hub featuring Skyline Chili, LaRosa’s Pizza, other snacks and drinks, and self-service checkouts. You may never get back to your seats.
Soft serve ice cream and Glier’s goetta, two Cincinnati favorites, will now be served at select concession stands. But not together; that would be gross. Try the goetta nachos or the soft-serve sundaes topped with Baby Ruth pieces.
Grab a Fry Box filled with vegetarian Frito chili, cheese sauce, crushed Fritos, pickled jalapenos, and ranch sauce on french fries. Or try the Tofuego Tacos with chipotle shredded street tofu, jalapeno aioli, cilantro, pickled red onions, and Cotija cheese.
Why not celebrate the seventh-inning stretch with a Double Play Donut Parfait, 12 cinnamon sugar donuts with house-made banana pudding, vanilla wafers, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, whipped cream, and caramel sauce? And this one belongs to the Reds!
